"Quote" A car pulled by RCMP from the Athabasca River Friday belongs to two hunters who went missing almost five years ago. Brian Nadeau and Dave Pushor went hunting in the Fort Assiniboine area on Nov. 25, 2004, and never returned. Police thought they tried to drive over the Athabasca River near the Klondike Ferry and fell through the ice, but were never able to find any trace of them or the Honda hatchback they were driving. "Quote" RCMP homicide investigators are at Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park after a man was discovered dead in the park early this morning. At around 8:30 a.m., a couple walking through the park reportedly stumbled upon the body of an adult man. Agassiz RCMP has determined that foul play was a factor. CTV BC

"Quote" Edmonton homicide detectives are questioning more than one person of interest in an apparent stabbing in front of a busload of stunned Canada Day revellers downtown. Robert Proudfoot and his family had just finished watching the fireworks and were lining up to board the No. 8 bus to Bonnie Doon at a stop across from the Hotel Macdonald when a fight broke out between four men who were apparently waiting to board.
